Cailyn Spurrell

Cailyn Spurrell is a highly experienced professional in the field of genomics and biotechnology, currently serving as Director at BrainChild Bio since January 2024. Prior to this role, Cailyn held positions at Seattle Children's as Research and Development Manager and Research Scientist from October 2021 to January 2024. Cailyn's earlier experience includes Project Manager at the University of Washington from April 2018 to October 2021, Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab from June 2014 to April 2018, and Research Associate at the Joint Genome Institute from 2004 to 2007. Cailyn holds a Ph.D. in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the University of Washington (2007-2013) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (2000-2004).
