Director, Data Strategy

Classification: Full time

Team: Data Services

Location: London

Our goal is for our clients to view us as their most sophisticated data and marketing partner and you will be responsible for driving data strategies for the clients within your Hive, including privacy and 1PD strategies. The focus of this role is therefore to ensure that we build and deliver solutions to solve our clients’  business challenges and deliver real business growth by creating data strategies utilising new and existing data products.

What you do:

  • Implement client KPI frameworks and measurement plans for full-funnel media execution, working symbiotically with the wider strategy and planning team. 
  • Collaborate with our media execution teams to deliver insightful media testing frameworks.
  • Map our clients on a data maturity framework and propose strategies to enhance client maturity.
  • Drive adoption and champion usage of technology (AdTech, MarTech and Brainlabs proprietary Tech).
  • Create first party data (1PD) strategies for our clients and unlock access to this data for media execution
  • You’ll contribute to the UK growth and product strategy, helping to shape the future direction of the Data Strategy team and wider strategy and planning team.

Who you are:

  • 6+ years' experience in a senior Data Science, Data Strategy or Technology Solutions role and leading projects.
  • Proven data strategy and measurement framework capabilities on leading clients, ideally multi-market. 
  • Client-facing experience and commercial acumen.
  • Strong understanding of hypothesis testing and measurement methodologies such as frequentist and bayesian approaches, or a strong statistical knowledge and data analysis skills
  • A confident communicator, with the ability to command a room and captivate through data-led story-telling. Be able to create the ‘A-Ha!’ moment for client strategies from broad data sets.

  • Annual data revenue target met, demonstrating YoY growth for your Client Hives
  • Exceptional client leadership; 7+ TRR scores or CSAT on accounts you regularly work with
  • Strong collaboration and leadership feedback internally and from clients
  • Work with different functions, clients and client teams to identify challenges, design and sell solutions and deliver them with your team
  • Strong collaboration with our India Data Hub and wider Data Services and client teams to lead and deliver data projects
  • Understand the opportunities that data has to solve the day to day challenges our clients face.
