Michele Robinson

Director Of Professional Learning, Brainpop Essentials at BrainPOP

Michele Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michele began their career in 1999 at All Kinds of Minds, where they held various roles including Implementation Support Manager, Curriculum Development Manager, and State Program Manager. Michele'sresponsibilities at All Kinds of Minds included managing strategies for product implementation, training, external partnerships, and curriculum development.

In 2010, Michele joined the NC Department of Public Instruction as an Instructional Coach. In this role, they provided professional development and coaching support to teachers in low-performing schools, focusing on improving teaching and learning and supporting school improvement efforts.

In 2018, Michele joined Granville County Public Schools as the Director of Elementary Education and Professional Development. Michele'smain responsibilities included developing and implementing curriculum, managing district-wide school improvement initiatives, supporting elementary principals, and overseeing professional development activities.

Currently, Michele is working at BrainPOP as the Director of District Success, Professional Learning Services. Michele leads a team of Professional Learning Strategists who provide implementation strategy and support to districts and schools. Michele'srole involves aligning BrainPOP services and professional learning with local priorities, facilitating the effective integration of BrainPOP resources into teaching and learning practices.

Throughout their career, Michele has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a dedication to improving education outcomes.

Michele Robinson holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, which they obtained from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1993 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Michele also obtained certifications in Training with Stories from LinkedIn in April 2021 and as an Educator - Type 1 (Elementary/Preschool) from the NC Department of Public Instruction in June 2015.
