George Mastoras currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Public Relations at the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, George was the Communications Manager at The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation from January 2021 to June 2023, and held various positions at The Communications Network, including Community Lead. George's extensive experience in communications includes serving as Communications Manager & Program Officer at the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and Director of Communications at the National Center on Time & Learning. Earlier in the career, George contributed as Assistant to the President at Massachusetts 2020, and as National Political Coordinator at Progressive Majority, focusing on recruiting progressive leaders. George’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Stonehill College and a Master of Arts in Political Management from The Graduate School of Political Management. Additionally, George completed the Education Policy Fellowship Program at the Institute for Educational Leadership.
