Camryn Theado

Camryn Theado, MS, currently serves as an R&D Chemist at Bright Innovation Labs since June 2025, after holding the position of Associate Chemist at Applechem - part of Solabia Group from July 2024 to June 2025. With extensive experience in formulating sun care and color cosmetic prototypes, Camryn has contributed to the development of innovative specialty ingredients, employing industry-standard laboratory techniques and maintaining meticulous records of experimental data. Previous roles include Project Intern at the Society of Cosmetic Chemists HQ, Applied Innovation Chemist Intern at Evonik, and various positions at kdc/one, where Camryn was involved in product development, process optimization, and research initiatives. Camryn holds a Master of Science in Cosmetic Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, where relevant coursework included teaching and research assistantships.
