Yasser Fathi

Yasser Fathi's work experience includes serving as the HW Director at Brightskies since April 2022. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at Sewedy Electrometer, Egypt, where they held the position of Technical Manager & System Architect. During their tenure, they led a team in developing the second generation of several models, resulting in significant cost reduction and improved product reliability. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, Yasser was the Head of Embedded Systems Department at Design Lab for Electronic Systems (DLECS), where they collaborated with Cairo University in designing strategic products such as RF embedded systems, antennas, and proximity detectors. Yasser also designed various systems like Level crossing and Fire Alarm system with intelligent sensors interface. From 2000 to 2006, Yasser worked as a Technical Manager & System Architect at EOIP, overseeing teams in PCB design, Automatic Meter Reading Systems, and Digital Protection relays. Yasser also completed their M.Sc. requirements in Electrical Communications Engineering during this time. Yasser started their career at EOIP in 1993 as an Embedded System Designer, eventually advancing to the role of Senior Embedded System Designer before leaving in 2000.

Yasser Fathi completed their education in the field of engineering. Yasser obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, which they attended from 1988 to 1993. Later, from 1999 to 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Cairo University. Finally, they completed their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University between 2006 and 2013. Yasser Fathi also holds additional certifications, namely Agile Software Management from SEEC and PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute PMI.
