Michelle Anderson

Michelle Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michelle began their career in 2005 as a Home Health Nurse at DORS, where they provided medical care for patients in their homes. In 2012, Michelle transitioned to the hospitality industry, working as a Bar Manager at Blackberry bar & grill until 2015. Michelle then joined Fox Valley Orthopedics in 2016 as a Procedure Entry Specialist, responsible for entering medical procedure information into the system. Michelle's entrepreneurial spirit led their to become self-employed in 2005, offering healthcare advocacy and professional services. Most recently, they have been working as a Home Health Nurse at BrightStar Care since November 2020.

Michelle Anderson's education history begins with their enrollment at Northern Illinois University in 1990, where they pursued pre-law studies and psychology. However, no degree is specified for their time at Northern Illinois University. Michelle then attended Illinois Central College from 2007 to 2009, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Practical Nursing, Vocational Nursing and Nursing Assistants.

In 2015, Michelle enrolled at Waubonsee Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Their studies at Waubonsee Community College concluded in 2017.

Most recently, in 2021, Michelle attended Aplus Healthcare, where they obtained a certification in Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist. Michelle completed their study of Certified Phlebotomy within the same year.
