Dan Sokol is currently a Medical Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb, a position held since 2020. Sokol also contributes as a Senior Scientific Advisor for Melanoma at the same company, a role taken on in 2015. Prior to these roles, Sokol served as CEO of a CRO from 2007 to 2010 and held various positions in clinical trial operations at Merck and MSD between 2011 and 2015. Sokol earned a PhD in Basic Scientific Research on Autoimmune Diseases from the Czech Academy of Sciences from 1997 to 2003, and holds an MSc in Immunology from Charles University in Prague and a Bc in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Masaryk University Brno.
