Andrea Welsch

Andrea Welsch has held a number of (re)insurance sector leadership roles working internationally across the industry as a broker, reinsurer and attorney. Most recently at Willis Re, her responsibilities included the development of the Acapella special purpose syndicate joint venture. Prior to this, she held senior positions with Greenlight Capital Re and Aon Benfield. In particular, Andrea brings strong expertise in reinsurance structures and the management of Lloyd’s syndicates. Andrea started her career at Herbert Smith, dual qualifying in the UK and New York.
