Jason Buitenhuis possesses extensive experience in the construction and utilities sector, currently serving in Construction Services - Line at BC Hydro since September 2025. Previously, Jason held multiple roles at Ledcor from April 2020 to January 2025, including Operations Manager and Project Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the installation and upgrade of telecommunications networks across British Columbia and Alberta. Prior to Ledcor, Jason worked as a Construction Project Coordinator at Arctic Arrow Powerline Group Ltd. from July 2018 to April 2020, managing various transmission line projects for BC Hydro and AltaLink. Jason began their career at Amec Foster Wheeler from May 2013 to May 2018, where duties included conducting technical site visits and collecting engineering data in challenging environments across British Columbia. Jason is an alumnus of Capilano University.
