Taylor Engels

Taylor Engels has been working in the software engineering and web development fields since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Videographer Assistant for Our8's Productions. In 2014, they were a Student Web Developer at the University of Connecticut. In 2017, they were a Web Production Temp at Taunton Press, Inc., where they created and implemented SEO optimized web articles and newsletters, photographed and edited woodworking content, created logos and advertising layouts, and updated and optimized web content. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Full Stack Web Developer at Tantor Media, where they were responsible for PHP backend and frontend development, worked with Business Systems to draft project requirements and scope, migrated legacy database systems and web applications, and used Amazon Web Services. Since 2020, they have been a Software Engineer at Broadnet.

Taylor Engels attended Naugatuck Valley Community College from 2012-2014, where they received an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems. Taylor then attended the University of Connecticut from 2014-2017 and earned a Bachelor's degree. In April 2022, Taylor obtained a certification in Programming Foundations: Secure Coding from LinkedIn.
