Tyler Moeller

Tyler leads Broadway’s innovation strategy and long-term technology vision for delivering pioneering capabilities to the industry. Tyler co-founded Broadway in 2003 and was Chief Executive Officer until 2021. Prior to Broadway, Tyler was a pioneer in high-frequency automated trading of fixed-income securities. At the height of the dotcom era, Tyler was CTO at carOrder.com, a startup with $125m in funding to sell cars online. Tyler started his career as a software engineer at Trilogy, an enterprise software company whose customers included Sun Microsystems, Ford Motors, and other Fortune 100 companies. Tyler is a recognized industry leader and has been honored as one of Institutional Investor’s top 40 global leaders in trading technology and as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for his achievements. Tyler holds multiple patents in distributed computing and trading technology. He earned his SB and MEng in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT.
