Megan Wimmer

Megan Wimmer currently serves as a Run Research Perception Graduate Intern at Brooks Running, having joined the company in January 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Footwear Development Intern at PUMA Group and a Mechanical Engineer I at Optimum Energy. Wimmer has also worked as a Design and Manufacturing Engineer at Dimond Bikes and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Boston University Orthopedic and Developmental Biomechanics Laboratory. Additional internships include positions at Hydrow, Inc., the Boston University Engineering Product Innovation Center, Gary Sanitary District, and a swim lesson instructor role at the Boston University Fitness and Recreation Center. Wimmer holds a Master’s degree in Sports Engineering from Loughborough University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, complemented by an academic honors diploma from Munster High School.
