Janice Stubbs

Janice Stubbs is the vice provost for Student Services at Broward College. She has over 30 years of experience in higher education. She has served Broward College since 1991, holding several leadership roles across Student Services. These include lead dean; dean, Student Services, South campus; director, Title V Solo Grant; lead administrator, Student Services, Pines and Weston Centers; associate registrar; and associate dean, Enrollment Services, South Campus. She also served as manager, Registration, and Veterans Affairs at Miami-Dade College, North Campus.

Throughout her career, Ms. Stubbs has led organizational change which resulted in improved student experiences and supported the goal of establishing a student-centered approach to student services at the college.

Ms. Stubbs earned a bachelor’s in Public Administration from Florida International University, and a master’s in Higher Education Administration from Barry University. She believes in the power of education to transform lives and is committed to providing student services that student success.
