Astrid Hanenkamp

Astrid Hanenkamp is a highly skilled 2D and 3D fashion designer with extensive experience in knitwear and direct collaboration with overseas factories. Currently serving as a 2D Fashion Designer at Astrid Hanenkamp since September 2018, Astrid focuses on analyzing the fashion marketplace to enhance design, color, and marketing strategies for improved brand positioning. As a Guild Member at Browzwear, Astrid contributes to initiatives highlighting independent designers. Additionally, involvement as a Design Collaborator for the IACDE 3D Summit includes conceptualizing innovative design ideas and crafting cohesive visual styles. Previous roles include 3D Designer at Treun House Atelier and Design Consultant/VP of Design at Online Cycling Gear. Astrid's earlier experience includes leading creative development for the DH New York Collection at Salty Inc. with a Master's degree in Fashion Design from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and education from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Burg Giebichenstein – Hochschule für Kunst und Design Halle.
