Public Safety Instructor (Part-Time)

Scot Landis has extensive experience in safety training and public safety instruction, currently serving as a Safety Instructor at Reading Area Community College since March 1992 and as a part-time Public Safety Instructor at Bucks County Community College since February 1998, focusing on fire fighting and rescue. Prior to his instructional roles, Scot Landis held various positions in carpentry, including Apprentice Carpenter at Brian Schalpich Construction and David George & Company, and Carpenter at Douglas Young Builders, with a strong background in residential renovations and new home construction. Scot Landis also served as a Deputy Fire Chief with the Department of Fire & Rescue Services City of Reading from June 1988 to December 2015, where responsibilities included supervising personnel during incidents and providing training. Additionally, Scot Landis worked as a Maintenance Carpenter at Gilbert Commonwealth Company, specializing in commercial construction and renovations.
