Sébastien Tourneux is an experienced R&D Graphics Engineer at Buf Compagnie since September 2015, specializing in the development of in-house generalist VFX software, with responsibilities including the design and implementation of new features, maintenance of the codebase, and support for artists. Sébastien has expertise in 3D modeling, QA, DevOps, UI software using Qt, and various aspects of texturing and simulation. Prior experience includes a research engineer internship at Dassault Systèmes focused on deformable material simulation and a software developer internship at Inria for micro-fabrication software in micro-3D printing. Sébastien holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Imagery and Computer Vision from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble.
