Dr. Jani Holopainen

Dr. Jani Holopainen is an experienced R&D Process Engineer specializing in optics at Bühler Group since January 2024. Previously, Dr. Holopainen served as Advanced Technology Manager at LUMINEQ from March 2020 to December 2023 and worked as an ALD Development Specialist at Beneq, focusing on ALD process development for Lumineq displays from October 2018 to March 2020. Prior to industry roles, Dr. Holopainen held various positions at the University of Helsinki, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Researcher, contributing to a robust academic background in inorganic chemistry, culminating in a Ph.D. earned between 2013 and 2017. Additional educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the same institution. Early work experience includes aircraft ground handling at Ametro Oy during the summers of 2007 and 2008.
