Peter Georgiev

Peter Georgiev is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in reporting and production. Currently serving as a Reporter for Panorama at Bulgarian National Television since November 2021, Peter also founded and hosts the Victoria Podcast, which highlights triumphs in football. Previous roles include Social Media and Engagement Editor for the Global Investigative Journalism Network and a Data Reporting Fellow with Missouri Information Corps, covering the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Peter has interned with NBC News, focusing on the American response to the health crisis, and has held various positions at Bulgarian National Television, Columbia Missourian, and other media organizations. Academically, Peter holds an MA in Investigative and Data Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and dual BA degrees in Communication and Media Studies from Newcastle University and Journalism from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
