Megge Van Valkenburg is a retired shareholder with over twenty-five years of experience in legal practice, primarily focused on serving the insurance industry. At Bullivant Houser Bailey since October 1992, Megge specialized in resolving complex coverage issues involving insureds and other insurance companies, as well as addressing regulatory matters with both the Oregon and Washington State Insurance Divisions. Prior to this role, Megge was in-house claims counsel at St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, managing claims related to D&O and E&O coverages. Earlier in the career, Megge held positions at Leonard, Street and Deinard, O'Connor & Hannan, and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Donald P. Lay at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Megge holds a JD from the University of Oregon and a BA in French Literature from the University of Washington.
