Mohamed Cissouma

Mohamed Cissouma is an experienced marine operations professional currently serving as the Deputy Head of Marine Operations for the IMEA Zone at Bureau Veritas Group since June 2018. With a strong background in marine surveying and design assessment for electricity and automation, responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, test reports, and type approval certificates, as well as ensuring compliance with various international regulations. Additionally, Cissouma is the Founder and President of ELIT since March 2021. Previous positions include EHS Engineer at EDF, Chief Mate and 2nd Mate at Nolis spa, and an Officer at Hyproc Shipping Company. Cissouma holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Industrial Risk Management and an Engineer's degree in Navigation, and has recently completed a degree in Maritime Management from the World Maritime University.
