Elaine Ong

Elaine Ong is the current CFO at BW LPG. Elaine has previously worked as the Group Senior Vice President, Finance at BW Group from November 2011 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Finance division of BW Group, which comprises of Corporate Finance, Tax, Financial Reporting, Business Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis functions.

From January 2010 to November 2011, Elaine Ong worked as the Regional Lead - Internal Audit at Kraft Foods. Prior to that, they were with Teekay Shipping from September 1999 to December 2009, where they held the position of Vice-President, Financial Projects and Systems and Regional Controller - Asia Pacific.

Elaine Ong is a Chartered Accountant who has studied accounting and finance at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the University of British Columbia.

They are on a team with Pontus Berg - Executive Vice President, Technical and Operations, Niels Rigault - Executive Vice President, Commercial. Elaine Ong reports to Anders Onarheim, Director.
