Camilla Schrappe

Camilla Schrappe is a legal professional with extensive experience in privacy and regulatory matters. From June 2021 to September 2023, Camilla served as Lead Counsel for Privacy and Regulatory at ByteDance, overseeing privacy-legal functions across Latin America and supporting various innovative initiatives. Prior to that, from May 2014 to June 2021, Camilla held multiple roles at Mercado Livre, including Privacy and Regulatory Counsel and Data Privacy Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing the privacy program and advising business units. Additional roles included Corporate Legal Counsel at Mercado Livre, and leadership positions in privacy working groups at FecomercioSP and Associação Brasileira Online to Offline. Camilla began the legal career at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, focusing on intellectual property and gained foundational experience as a legal trainee. Camilla holds a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and an LLM in Corporate Law from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.
