Gavin Patel

Gavin Patel is a current Incoming Software Engineer T2 at CACI International Inc, having joined in September 2025. Previously, Gavin gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Garmin, where notable contributions included significant improvements to a customer-facing tool and enhancing USB support for flight log downloads. Gavin also interned at John Deere, developing programs to improve operational efficiency and conducting software testing for HIL-related projects. As a Software Member of PrISUm Solar Car, Gavin implemented embedded software protocols to optimize vehicle performance. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, earned in May 2025. Early work experience includes roles as a Library Associate and Line Cook, demonstrating strong customer service and operational support skills.
