Yingchen Li is currently the Software Engineering Director for CFD R&D at Cadence Design System, a position held since 2024. They have also worked as a Development Engineer at NUMECA International since 2008, focusing on cut cell methods, radiation modeling, and supervising the development of the OpenLabs tool. Yingchen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Turbomachinery, CFD, and the Adjoint method from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where they studied from 1998 to 2008.
