Bevis Metcalfe

Bevis Metcalfe is a Partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, specializing in Private Credit and Restructuring since April 2022. In this role, Bevis advises credit funds, financial sponsors, banks, and corporate clients on a variety of financing instruments, including senior debt, unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, holdco and PIK loans, as well as preferred equity. With extensive experience in advising diverse stakeholders in corporate debt restructurings across both developed and developing markets, Bevis has previously held partner positions at Baker McKenzie and Ropes & Gray LLP, and served as counsel and associate at Ropes & Gray LLP and Simmons & Simmons, respectively. Bevis also has experience as Legal Counsel at SEB Merchant Banking. Educationally, Bevis holds a Master of Arts with Honors in History from The University of Edinburgh, attained between 1999 and 2003.
