Alastair Knight

Alastair Knight is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in safety management, operational leadership, and pilot training across military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the EMEA Aviation Safety Officer at CAE since January 2019, responsibilities include managing the Safety Management System for various aviation training sectors and conducting safety audits and investigations. Prior experience includes roles in the Royal Air Force focused on aviation fuel management, optimizing fuel savings while maintaining safety, and as COO of Team Blood Glucose, where initiatives enhanced diabetes management through exercise. Alastair also held director roles in the Royal Navy for simulator training and served as a VC 10 pilot in the Royal Air Force, engaging in global operations. A King’s College London graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree, Alastair’s career spans over three decades, emphasizing leadership in aviation safety and training.
