Horia Petre

Horia Petre is an experienced professional in the aerospace sector, currently serving as a System Software Specialist at CAE since November 2023. Previously, Horia held the position of Avionics Systems Integrator at Airbus Canada from December 2018 to November 2023, focusing on A220 AFCS/Autoland system integration. Horia also worked at CAE from February 2011 to December 2018 in various roles as a System Software Specialist for both Autopilot and Flight Controls. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Concordia University in May 2009, contributing to the CIADI by using Computational Fluid Dynamics for jet engine nozzle analysis. Horia holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University (2017-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automotive and Aerospace from the same institution (2007-2010).
