John Schutte

John Schutte has extensive experience in information technology management, primarily with the Calgary Catholic School District, where roles included Director of Information Technology from October 1996 to January 2015, overseeing technology strategies for nearly 60,000 staff and students while leading a team of over 70 professionals. Previously, John served as Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Operations, managing a team of almost 40 technical professionals to deliver innovative solutions. Early in their career, John worked as Infrastructure Team Lead and in Technical Services, providing technical and hardware support. John's educational background includes a Bachelor of Management from Athabasca University and a degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.
