David A. Africano

David A. Africano is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Caliburn. Prior to this, they served as the Information Technology Manager at LifeStyle Home Builders, and the Chief Information Security Officer at Comprehensive Health Services. David has also worked as a Senior Network Engineer on the Infrastructure team in the Information Technology Department at Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (CHSi).

David A. Africano graduated from Keiser College with a degree in Cybersecurity. David also holds certifications from the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB) in CMMC-AB Registered Practioner, EC-Council in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA in Network +, CompTIA in A +, CompTIA in CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA in CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification, CompTIA in Security +, United States Department of Defense in Secret Clearance (Active), Citrix in Citrix Certified Administrator, and Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Professional.

David A. Africano reports to Jim Van Dusen, CEO. They are on a team with Daniela Walrath - SVP HR, Joe Bopp - SVP Business Development, and Lynne Halbrooks - Chief Compliance Officer.
