Rebecca Albright

Rebecca Albright is an experienced marine biologist with a strong academic background and extensive research experience. Currently, Albright serves as an Associate Curator at the California Academy of Sciences since July 2016, and previously held the position of Assistant Curator. Prior to this, Albright worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science from August 2014 to June 2016, where responsibilities included scientific research, project management, and grant writing. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the Australian Institute of Marine Science and a PhD in Marine Biology and Fisheries from the University of Miami. Albright also co-founded the Reef Check Youth Dominican Republic and has held various teaching and leadership roles throughout the career.
