Daniel Ransom

Instructional Services Librarian at California College of the Arts

Daniel Ransom, MLIS, serves as the Instructional Services Librarian at the California College of the Arts since October 2015, focusing on reference, instruction, outreach, and collection development for the CCA Libraries. Prior to this, Ransom held the position of Librarian for Research and Electronic Resources at Holy Names University from July 2010 to October 2015, providing comprehensive reference and research support services. Experience also includes a temporary role as Library Assistant IV at the University of San Francisco, where support was given to the Access Services department, and positions at the California Academy of Sciences, where Ransom contributed to digital archiving and library intern responsibilities. Ransom’s educational background includes a Masters in Library and Information Science from San José State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Theater Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
