Xiomara Arroyo

Xiomara Arroyo is a Council Member at California State University, San Marcos. Xiomara previously worked as a Vice President and Foundation Manager at Wells Fargo from August 2005 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the investments across the San Diego and Imperial County regions. As a Senior Community Relations executive, they managed a portfolio of 100+ nonprofit partners and current/past budgets of up to 3.3 MM in assets for successful deployment into the Housing Affordability, Small Business Growth, Financial Health and Education investment areas.

During the 2020-2021 fiscal year, they directed 72% of local investments towards racial, equity and diverse owned businesses, including supporting the launch of the Black Community Investment Fund in San Diego , as a seed investor of $75,000, in order to advance economic growth for people of color. ( 56% of all local investments deployed in 2020, were concentrated in improving African American/Xiomara'spanic Communities)

Arroyo is proficient in Excel pivot table analysis, diagrams, PowerPoint and Tableau software as a vehicle to depict ongoing trends and strategies as they collaborate with Senior Leaders in our region.

Xiomara Arroyo has an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Business Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and Financial Policy for Managers. Xiomara also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from California State University San Marcos. Xiomara also has Executive Leadership and Influencing Others certifications from LinkedIn.
