Andrew Chandler

Andrew Chandler has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Andrew began their career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and then spent 10 years in Corporate Finance with Citicorp in New York and London. After a stint as CFO for a privately held US company, they returned to the UK and took on several interim CFO roles. In 2011, they became the CFO & Board Member for Cambridge University Press.

During their time as interim CFO for Amberfin Ltd, Chandler was responsible for all aspects of accounting, control, regular reporting and analysis, and developing the setup and use of a new Access Dimensions accounting system. Andrew also prepared strategic financial plans, including assessment of funding requirements and addressing outstanding business transfer/intercompany issues, transitional service arrangements, a VAT review, US registrations, and associated tax matters.

As Interim CFO for Carlson Wagonlit Travel's UK & Ireland division in 2011, Chandler was responsible for all aspects of the division's finances. This included preparing monthly management accounts, forecasting, cash-flow management, year-end statutory accounts, and liaison with auditors. Andrew also led the finance team through a period of significant change, including a reorganization and implementation of new accounting software.

Andrew Chandler studied mathematics and engineering at the University of Cambridge before becoming a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. Andrew then went on to become a Financial Consultant with Prince2.
