Ryan Pancoast

Ryan Pancoast has extensive experience in railroad operations, currently serving as a Trainmaster at CN since March 2002. In this role, Ryan is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations across the system while monitoring and enforcing operating and safety regulations. Previously, Ryan held the position of Assistant Superintendent in the Chicago Division, where responsibilities included establishing budgets and modifying operating plans in collaboration with Service Design. As a Rail Operation Center Coordinator, Ryan focused on monitoring on-time statistics for Amtrak/Meta and enhancing process improvements to facilitate safe train movement. Ryan began a career in the railroad industry at The Belt Railway Company of Chicago, where participation in a management training program marked the start of professional development after graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
