Rose Stone

Rose Stone is an experienced professional in the healthcare and non-profit sectors, currently serving as the Head of Cancer Patient Information Services at Cancer Research UK since January 2025. Prior to this role, Rose was with the Royal Osteoporosis Society as Head of Information and Support Services and Acting Director of Services and Innovation, where responsibilities included leading services for individuals affected by osteoporosis. Rose also held the position of Head of Services at Bowel Cancer UK, overseeing peer and expert support programs, and managed the national advice services at Gingerbread, including operational leadership of a multi-channel helpline. Previous roles include Helpline Manager at Get Connected and Breast Cancer Care, where management of helplines and teams was emphasized. Rose holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from UCL and a Certificate of Higher Education in Counselling from Birkbeck, University of London.
