Christiaan Lombard

Christiaan Lombard is an accomplished software development leader with extensive experience in engineering and team management. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Candide since September 2022, Christiaan oversees all software development initiatives and the complete software development lifecycle. Prior to this role, Christiaan held positions at Babylonstoren, progressing from Senior Backend Developer to Technical Lead, where responsibilities included architectural design and team mentoring for the e-commerce platform. Previous experience includes establishing a software development department at Provar, and contributions to system improvements at Yousemble and other organizations. Christiaan began the professional journey as a web developer intern at SampleBoard and holds a National Senior Certificate from Labori High School.
