Orlando Rangel Jr.

Orlando Rangel Jr. is Market President for Cano Health’s West Florida Region. Under his leadership, Cano Health has greatly expanded its operations and grown membership in the region, providing patient–centric care based on an individual’s distinct needs and preferences.

Rangel previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Rangel Medical Centers, a Tampa-based medical group serving more than 15,000 patients. Under his tenure he consolidated multiple affiliated practices into a full– risk MSO (Management Services Organization), known as Primary Care Group, LLC., which expanded into several counties in Central Florida.

Rangel also founded Gulfcoast Medical Research, a clinical research company that has been assigned several FDA –supervised investigational clinical studies focused on testing the safety and efficacy of treatment options for multiple chronic conditions.

He earned a BA degree from the University of South Florida and has more than 12 years of experience in the health care industry.
