Jake Soepboer

Jake Soepboer is a highly experienced project engineer with a strong background in managing and coordinating engineering projects across various sectors. Currently serving as a Project Engineer and Asset Management Advisor at Capital Regional District since May 2022, Jake previously worked as a Project Coordinator at the City of Victoria and held positions as Project Manager at Specific Mechanical Systems, where projects included brewery equipment and custom fabrication. Jake's extensive tenure at BC Transit involved managing capital projects, fleet strategic planning, and contractor oversight, alongside early roles in engineering co-op positions that contributed to innovative fuel cell bus initiatives. Jake holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
