Louie Reckford

Louie Reckford currently serves as the Policy and Regulatory Manager at Captona since June 2023. Previous experience includes a Graduate Internship at Ceres, Inc. and a role as a Junior Consultant at Ramboll, leading a team of Junior Consultants. Reckford has significant policy experience as a Policy Advisor at Foreign Policy for America, focusing on Iran, North Korea, and nuclear nonproliferation, and as a Policy Associate with DC for Biden during the 2020 presidential election. Prior to that, Reckford worked in the United States Senate, managing the legislative portfolio for foreign affairs, defense, cybersecurity, and veterans affairs for Senator Merkley, along with roles as a Legislative Correspondent and Deputy Scheduler. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara.
