Ankit Agarwal

Ankit Agarwal is the current CEO of Insurance at CarDekho. Ankit has also served as the COO - Insurance and Head - Corporate Finance and New Initiatives at MoveInSync Tech. Sol. Pvt Ltd. and as an AVP - Investment Banking at Anand Rathi Advisors.

Born in India, Ankit completed their undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University in 2009. Ankit went on to earn their MBA from the Indian School of Business in 2013.

Ankit's career in the financial sector began at UBS in 2009, where they worked as an Associate for three years. In 2012, they transitioned to Anand Rathi Advisors, where they served as an AVP - Investment Banking for one year.

In 2013, Ankit joined MoveInSync Tech. Sol. Pvt Ltd., where they built the corporate finance and marketing functions from the ground up and grew the company across 8 Indian cities. Ankit also led hiring across non-tech functions, growing the team 6x with zero attrition across a 12 month period. In 2015, they were promoted to COO - Insurance.

In October 2015, Ankit joined CarDekho as COO - Insurance. In this role, they were responsible for leading the insurance business and growing it manifold. In June 2019, they were promoted to CEO, Insurance.

Under Ankit's leadership, CarDekho has become one of the leading players in the online insurance space in India. Ankit has also been instrumental in raising capital for the company from various investors, including Qualcomm Ventures, Inventus Capital, Saama Capital and Innoven Capital.

Ankit Agarwal has completed a Masters in Financial Studies from the University of Delhi and a Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Kolkata. Ankit has also attended Birla High School.

They are on a team with Mayank Gupta - CFO, Manish Wadhwa - Chief People Officer, and Namit Jain - CEO, Financal Services. Their manager is Amit Jain, CEO & Co-Founder.
