James Young

James Young is an experienced professional in the fields of sport, education, and quality assurance, currently serving as the Head of Department for Sport, Tourism, and Public Services at Cardiff and Vale College since September 2006. James is highly involved in various roles at Pearson Edexcel, including BTEC Traditional Examiner, Standards Verifier, and Lead Standards Verifier, where responsibilities encompass standardisation, quality assurance, and marking. Additionally, James has served as an External Examiner at Plymouth University, overseeing the quality of Higher Education programmes. Past roles include managing the Under 18s team and International Department at the Welsh Schools Football Association and coaching at Cardiff City FC Academy.
