Jacqui Boddington

Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Engagement at Cardiff Metropolitan University

Jacqui Boddington is Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Engagement. She was formerly Director for Learning, Teaching and Student Experience at Middlesex University, having previously headed the Learning Futures directorate at Falmouth University. She began her academic career as a lecturer in media practice, having spent 15 years as a reporter and editor of fashion and business titles.

Jacqui graduated from Queen Mary College, London, with a BSc in Genetics and Microbiology, later completing her MA (Mass Communications) at the University of Leicester. She is now completing her PhD at Middlesex University.

Her role is to devise and implement a model of academic delivery, student engagement and enhancement that provides a coherent approach to student engagement across the whole student experience: learning and teaching; research experience and projects; work placements and internships; international study and travel; professional accreditation and networks; volunteering and civic engagement.
