Johanne Vidkjær General Counsel

Johanne Vidkjær has been working as General Counsel since 2020, when they became Head of Legal & Compliance at Cardlay A/S. Prior to this, they were an Attorney and Senior Legal Counsel at Codan Forsikring from 2016-2020. From 2006-2016, they worked as an Attorney at Bruun & Hjejle, advising primarily on legal issues relating to IT and e-commerce, including e-marketing, processing and protection of personal data, negotiations of IT contracts and litigation. Johanne Vidkjær was a certified IT attorney and a member of the Association of Danish IT Attorneys. Additionally, they were experienced in corporate law, commercial contracts and intellectual property rights. From 2010-2016, they were an Extern Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen. From 2000-2006, they were a Pilot at Experimetarium.

Johanne Vidkjær General Counsel obtained a Bachelor in Laws from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2004-2006, followed by a Master of Laws in the same field from the same university. In 2011-2012, they attended Fordham University School of Law and obtained an LL.M in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law.
