Chief Technology Officer at CareCentrix

Kimberly Paul is the current Chief Technology Officer at CareCentrix. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Relias from March 2017 to September 2017. Kimberly has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Advanced Practice Strategies (APS) from September 2015 to September 2017, and Chief Information Officer, Head of Delivery, EVP at NeoCare Solutions from March 2013 to September 2015.

Paul began their career in IT at ActiveHealth Management in March 2005, where they became Vice President in charge of the application development division. In this role, they were responsible for the division's strategic vision, delivery management, resource management, and financial management. Under their leadership, the division grew from a weak skill/inexperienced team of 6 people into a 130-person application development division encompassing varying skill and experience levels.

During their time at ActiveHealth Management, Paul implemented standard templates and processes for all aspects of the SDLC from analysis to production validation. Kimberly also introduced, implemented, and managed project methodology standards into an immature IT division that was used to minimal standards, processes or controls. In addition, they developed operational processes and tracking to ensure SLAs were met, and improved SLA compliance from 10% to 99%.

In their role as Vice President, Paul also designed and delivered a strategic application to support a new business vertical for ACO clients. Kimberly then re-engineered the core clinical decision support application into a high value n-tier nested rule/complex logic system. After that, they designed two strategic transitions of Care Management platforms to increase capabilities. Lastly, they designed and developed a member health state rules engine.

Paul left ActiveHealth Management in March 2013 to join NeoCare Solutions as their Chief Information Officer, Head of Delivery, EVP. In this role, they were responsible for the company's IT applications, delivery management, resource management, and financial management. During their time at NeoCare Solutions, they implemented SDLC processes and standards across the application development division culminating in SOC2 certification with no exceptions. Kimberly also developed and designed the clinical decision support rules engine (Care Engine) and Care Plan content engine.

In September 2015, Paul left NeoCare Solutions to join Advanced Practice Strategies (APS) as their Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they were responsible for the company's IT strategy and execution. During their time at APS, they delivered a new Provider product for support of population and care management in 30% of the time and budget of prior implementations. Kimberly also managed and designed clinical data integration and use between multiple platforms, systems, and databases.

Kimberly Paul attended The Johns Hopkins University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.

Kimberly Paul reports to John Driscoll, Chief Executive Officer. Kimberly Paul works with Steve Horowitz - Chief Financial Officer, Caryn Ciaio - Chief Human Resources Officer, and Steve Wogen - Chief Growth Officer.
