Anup Sharma

Dr. Anup Sharma is a seasoned physician executive that is well versed in population health, value-based care, acute and post-acute utilization management for Commercial and MA plans.

Prior to transitioning to the payor space Dr. Sharma did direct patient care in North Carolina as a hospitalist. Anup is board certified in Internal and Family Medicine; he received his MBA from University of TN, Knoxville in 2009.

Dr. Sharma has been with CareMore Health since October of 2021. Dr. Sharma joined the Anthem family June 2020 in commercial lines of business. Prior to that Dr. Sharma was at Humana in various roles including at enterprise level leading post-acute strategies.

In 2017 Anup was asked to join the Home Health Transformation Management Office, working in the home health space as well as working.
