Liz Ellens

Liz Ellens is an experienced food safety and quality assurance professional currently serving as FSQR Facility Manager at Cargill since August 2021. In this role, Liz drives food safety, quality, and regulatory culture at the facility through the establishment of cross-functional leadership teams and effective communication. Prior to Cargill, Liz was FSQA Assistant Manager at J&B Group, where responsibilities included overseeing direct reports, managing customer complaints, maintaining HACCP and SQF programs, and leading projects to enhance labeling processes. Earlier positions included FSQA Lead and Quality Assurance Technician, where Liz focused on ensuring high-quality food products and compliance with safety standards. Liz's career began as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Cold Spring Brewing Company. Liz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, earned in 2017.
