Dan Fortin

Dan Fortin is the current Chair at Carleton University. Dan has also previously worked as a Member Board of Directors at Foresters Financial from June 2017 to June 2021, as well as at Clean Tech VC fund and Evok Innovations. From January 2010 to March 2013, they worked as the General Manager for the Global Distribution Sector at IBM Corp, and prior to that they were the President at IBM Canada from April 2005 to June 2014.

Dan Fortin holds a certificate in cybersecurity oversight from Carnegie Mellon University, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Carleton University, and an honorary doctorate from Carleton University. Dan also has an Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D.) from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
