Nir Hagigi

Nir Hagigi currently serves as a Project Archivist at Carleton University, focusing on the digitization of Professor Nahla Abdo's archive and the organization of scholarly works. Concurrently, Nir holds the role of Founding Editor in Chief at the Canadian Journal for the Academic Mind, establishing a scholarly platform and securing significant grants for its operation. Other roles include Co-President of the Carleton University Human Rights Society, where advocacy campaigns and strategic communication initiatives are developed, and several positions within Carleton's Senate committees. Previous experience encompasses public policy analysis with the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, as well as various leadership and operational roles in the service industry. Nir is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Global and International Studies with a specialization in Global Development at Carleton University, expected to graduate in April 2026.
