Paul Staniland

Paul Staniland is an accomplished academic and scholar specializing in political science and international relations. Currently serving as a nonresident scholar in the South Asia Program at the Carnegie Endowment since March 2020, Paul Staniland has also been a professor of political science and the faculty chair of the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago since 2010. Paul Staniland earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2010, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago from 2000 to 2004.
